The Northern Mariana Islands are a great alternative to the typical beach vacation. There are seven great golf courses on the island, waiting for you to come play on them. Five courses are 18 holes and offer a great round on each of them.
There is a links course at Coral Ocean Point that many tourist come to visit specifically. The course has even been host to the Asian Tour, among other events. There are winds that can gust between 20-30 miles per hour on any given day on this course, an additional challenge.
If traveling to the Northern Mariana Islands consider trying to avoid the rainy season between July and November. The temperatures average around 83 degrees Fahrenheit year round, with a high humidity.

Lee Westwood hooked his drive on the 13th hole into a crowd of folks at the Ritz Charlton Golf Course as a part of the Accenture Match Play Championship.
This is maybe not news but where the ball landed is incredible..... The ball somehow made it's way into a woman's shirt as seen in the video below.
What would have been funnier is if the lady would have taken a run towards the green and dropped the ball there or even dropped it in the hole :)
